COMPLEX. A company based in culture and not just a magazine but a hub for cultural curation. Collecting sneaker heads and artist fandoms into one following. People want to know what is up right now, what is hip, who is going to be the prominent artist to listen to this year? What shoe is going to be for the fashion girls, and which brand has the line of the century that we all just need? COMPLEX has the mic in hand to share all of this and more with the world, influencing young adults and teens on a global scale, and everybody wants to be in the know.
How can COMPLEX Latin communicate to the world and the tribe that follows them that Latin culture is here and influencing us every day, yet we don't realize it? Give a spotlight to the artists who are part of this growing movement, and share their stories.
Creating a series of conversations with artists, fashion designers, photographers, chefs, directors, and other media professionals who influence mainstream culture. (FOOD IS MEDIA AND CONTENT AND INFLUENCE AND AN ART) Conversations that ask serious and unserious questions alike, getting to know an artist but also getting to know COMPLEX Latin, this communicates to audiences that COMPLEX supports and uplifts young Latin culture in not just America but globally.
I made a short animation to be a video opener for this hypothetical series, introducing the new sector of COMPLEX, COMPLEX Latin.
